We are thrilled to announce that in about 1 week, The Lyric Theatre Singers will be back in their rehearsal seats! And who better to recuperate the baton, than longtime Lyric friend and collaborator, Chris Barillaro. That’s right! Chris will join us as Guest Musical Director, to lead the singers through the Fall to what is sure to be an exceptional π˜Ύπ™–π™£π™™π™‘π™šπ™‘π™žπ™œπ™π™© π˜Ύπ™π™§π™žπ™¨π™©π™’π™–π™¨ 2026 concert.

Having worked closely with the singers and with Bob Bachelor as Co-Musical Director in the past, Chris is no stranger to, and truly embodies, the excellent musicianship and heart it takes to lead a unique group such as Lyric! Even when Chris was no longer working with us, his friendship and collaboration with Bob continued throughout the years, always helping with arrangements and even sometimes as a concert musician, despite a busy schedule as MD for countless musical productions across Canada.
